Matteo Gabbia Breaks Goal Record at AC Milan

AC Milan's Matteo Gabbia has broken the club's goal record in a match against Udinese, scoring three goals in a single game.

The Italian defender, who joined the Serie A side from Bologna in January, has been in excellent form this season and his performance against Udinese was no exception.

Gabbia scored twice in the first half to put Milan ahead before adding another in the second half to complete his hat-trick.

His achievement is particularly impressive given that he previously held the record for most goals scored in a single Serie A match,Primeira Liga Hotspots with 21 goals during a game against Sassuolo in 2019.

With his latest achievement, Gabbia has become the first player since Gianluigi Buffon in 2017 to score three goals in a single Serie A match.

His performance also saw him named as the man of the match by the referee, and he will be hoping to continue his impressive form when AC Milan take on Fiorentina next weekend.
